OUR STORY

In late August of 2018 we bought what was Sharrock’s Bake Shop. We provide the local community with good quality, scratch-made baking, a wide range of breads and pastries. We are committed to providing real value for money. It is great to be part of the vibrant Frankleigh Park shopping area.

We are a family-run business. Shawn is in the shop every day. Sharon works on Saturdays and you will see our three boys, Lachlan, Kellen and Conall, helping out in the shop from time to time.

The Bake Shop on Govett is a hidden gem in the Frankleigh Park shopping area.

We specialise in Keto and Gluten Free goodies. Our donuts are a firm favourite and we make a pretty mean pie too! All our baking is done ‘from scratch’ in-house so you know it’s going to be good. We have something for everyone – gingerbread people and cookies for the kids, traditional cream horns and custard squares for our older customers, and plenty of slices and pies for everyone in between. Plus our guys make great coffee too using IncaFe beans!

On Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights we switch gears and operate our Pop-Up Pizza from 5.00pm. Our pizzas are traditional Italian and we roll our own dough and put your pizza together from scratch when you order. Keto/Gluten Free pizzas are also on the menu.

All our traditional Italian style 11 inch pizzas are hand made to order.

Our handcrafted pizza dough is made daily in-house, topped with our own recipe marinara sauce, fresh ingredients and extra virgin olive oil.

We make the best donuts in town! Check out the varieties in the cabinet - cream, raspberry, caramel, blueberry, lemon, passionfruit, chocolate, peanut butter, coffee, carnival, bumblebee, etc. We love to experiment and come up with new flavour combinations,

KETO/GLUTEN FREE

We bake a range of Keto/Gluten Free foods which is growing as we meet customer demand. We have details of ingredients and macros available in store for all of these items.

SAVOURY ITEMS

We have been baking keto/gluten free 'fat head’ dough pizza bases for some time. These can be purchased separately as bases for you to take home and create your own pizza or ordered along with our regular pizzas on Friday and Saturday nights.
